    Memorial : Villers-Bretonneux, Somme, Picardie, France. His mother was Martha Kipling Wilson born Wisbech in 1864, 1881 she is living with parents at 34 Clifton terrace Hull. Married Charles Clark late 1886. His father was a merchant Seaman born Market Weighton and in 1911 is a railway shunter .
    Rifleman Clark was Born 1898 Hull age 13 in 1911 living 18 Day Street Hull . 1901 census age 3 living at 42 CremorneTerr. South Parade Hull worked Hull. He had 3 sisters and one brother still at home in 1911. joined PO oct 1914 asst p/man 226572 1902 p/man Aug. 17th 1918 125677 promoted to postman. He was unmarried.
