to the Hindenburg Line. Others included Battle of Bullecourt, actions around the Hindenburg Line, Battle of the Menin Road Ridge, The Battle of Polygon Wood. The Second Battle of Passchendaele, where he earned his medal and was killed. One of 12 names on the Norman Primitive Methodist Church Memorial Hawthorn Ave Hull unveiled 6th June 1920
